So on July 1, 2015, I ordered a 36 hybrid deluxe on a wagon wheel cart, removable smoke stack, and dampers in top of firebox.  On August 14 it was delivered.  I seasoned it as Ben shows on his video, and did my first cook which consisted of a boneless ribeye roast and beer can chicken.  While waiting on those I cooked some chicken wings as a snack and damn were they good.  I fired the cooker up without the plate in the warming box.  I had dampers open to see what temp I could get.  I got close to 500 in the warmer believe it or not!  Definitely can cook in the box so those that are thinking about this option, do it!  The wagon wheel cart is also the way to go.  This cooker is so heavy, if you don't have the cart you aren't moving it to do comps or anything else once its set.  The removable smoke stack is awesome and allows me to use a cover over the cooker.  I got the oversized charbroil one and its fine.  The cooker came with temp probe hole drilled tapped and filled with screw in plug.  Works awesome!  The chargriller smoke stack came with an adjustable damper as well so regulating temp will be easy.  Havent used the griller part yet and was thinking the last cook that maybe I should have gone with a 36 stretch on wagon wheel cart but its nice to have a grill section as well if needed.  Besides, I have enough room to do a big cook especially since I can use the warmer to do 2-3 more butts, ribs or whatever due to temp ability now.  As far as wood, once this thing gets to temp it rolls along.  It seems to want to hold between 250-275 and I have to open the smoker door some to keep heat down.  I will experiment with a smaller fire and maybe that will do it but I cooked about 5.5-6 hours on approximately 2 whole logs that were small.  I must say I am completely happy with this machine!  I have read many posts on the net talking about quality issues etc, but I have not seen a bad weld or any quality issues with my cooker at all.  For the price on this versus others these are an awesome deal.  Sure I would like to have a Mixon cooker or a Jambo but I only spent 2,800 including shipping on a 36 hybrid deluxe on wagon cart!  The Mixon or Jambo are way beyond that in price and besides this thing will be around way after I leave this world.  If you are on the fence, pull the trigger.  Life is short and my BBQ is the best I have ever had.  This cooker is fool proof and awesome!
