Thanks!  Good tip.  I'll not be using it on the deck. I'll roll it off onto the driveway before firing it up. I will watch for coals from the door.

Why wait -- fire it up and get used to it!! Cover the cook chamber with a welders blanket from Harbor Freight and you can buy a large garage oil drip pan from Walmart to protect your deck from sparks or grease drips.

Good luck with your new toy. Did you pick it up or was it delivered and how did you get it out of the P/U bed?

Haha....I'll wait because I prefer not to be outside in zero degrees.

I have  place I can back my truck up to the deck so things just roll off level.  No Problem.
