Whole Beef Sirloin tip

I bought a 12lb Whole sirloin tip, it was on sale and cheap. How about some good tips on cooking this monster. Temp? Injection? Rub?

I have though about doing the same thing before but have not took the time. I was thinking of a past of spices to rub over the meat a start it in a higher heat and bring it down after a while till you get a internal temp of medium, pull off let rest then slice thin like Roast Beef.
That is what I was thinking of, have you cooked yours yet? Would like to know how it turned out! Or if others have tryed this how did it go? Forum Index -> Ask for tips on cooking
