sunday brisket



My Lang 60 delux performed perfectly as always.......It gets better with every cook.......Feb will make it 5 years old so I t really holding up well other than the yearly firbox painting.....LOL I love I can't imagine anything cooking any better.

Holy Smoked Meat!

Man that sure is one fine looking Brisket right there. I tryed one many years back on my 60, but it did not look that Good! I over cooked it I think cause it fell apart, pulled brisket.
Makes me want to try it again Smile

I actually did two last Sunday. The first one I didn't let it rest long enough and it fell apart while slicing. It smelled so good I couldn't wait any longer and started cutting in to it. The second one, was resting while we were eating the first one. It sliced much better...(that is why I have pictures of the second one).....lol. That Lang is a cooking machine..It makes me look good everytime I cook on it...... I had gone to a BBQ comp. in Wildwood NJ and paid 9 bucks for a brisket sandwich.....two thin slices of brisket on a roll with bbq sauce and mine taste better...lol....it was  so small all it did was make me want brisket. So I cooked a couple the following week
