smoke ring

Need help w/ getting smoke ring. I am using oak, cherry, and hickory wood. Getting a small ring but not quite like I feel I should. Food looks good & tastes great. Have a patio 48". Am waiting to get clear smoke like Ben advises. Any tips would be appreciated. Question

If you're smoke is too thick then your fuel air flow mixture is off. Try using smaller logs and open the pin wheels more. Check amazingribs.com for your smoke ring.

Smoke ring is a misnomer....not really caused by "smoke".
