Photos of my 36 hybrid deluxe on wagon wheel cartHad this beast delivered at 330am Saturday morning by AJ and bobby from Bens shop. 36 hybrid deluxe on wagon wheel cart, firebox dampers, and removable smoke stack. Was originally going to try to push up front steps of house, roll through kitchen and put on back deck, WRONG!. This damn thing weighs around 1200 pounds and couldn't even get the wheels off the ground, went to Plan B. Rolled to back yard, laid down brick tiles and rolled up on the newly made platform. Seasoned it off like Ben said and its ready to cook. I must say letting this thing get to temperature for about an hour is a must! Let it get hot and it will hold temp well. Takes about an hour. I got the warming box up to almost 500 with the dampers open in top of firebox. These are a must in my opinion and if anyone was wondering if they can cook in the box with this option, you can for sure. Outstanding craftsmanship on my model, no bad welds, doors seal well and are not warped but all straight. Havent used chargriller yet so no comment on that but it looks solid for sure. The new adjustable damper on top of chargriller smokestack is nice and simple to use. All said this is an awesome beast and well made unit and I am happy with it. The delivery truck had a 48 hybrid that looked awesome but its a big unit! If I had space and unlimited funds I would buy it but this 36 will really do all I need especially since I can cook in the warmer as well. Not big enough to run a business but big enough to be the neighborhood pitmaster and also cook in competitions. If you are on the fence, pull the trigger these units are awesome! Thanks Ben and company!
