I'm going from a Char-griller with a side fire box to a Lang.  I sure its night and day between these units.

I think so... i have the 36", wish I had gotten the 48" but not unhappy. The Lang has out performed my CookShack hands down on flavor profile. I was intimidated a bit with the stick burner at first but love it now (got it in Oct).  You do need to get a good supply of wood however ... love the Lang !

Does anyone know the over all length of the 48 patio?  Need to decide what size trailer I will need.

Grats on your purchase. The only thing worse then the wait on shipping is waiting for winter to break.
I got my 36" beginning of Jan. and used it twice.

With the cold and snow we are having here in Chicago this year I can't get it out.

Not that it won't hold the temp but my hose freezes up for the pre and post cleanings and I also hate when my beer turns to slush when I'm trying to grill LOL.

High of 17 deg. and more snow for Saturday this is driving me crazy  Evil or Very Mad .

Also, the size is listed on the Lang web site.

Get a pump type garden sprayer for spraying the cooker, works good and they are cheap

Great idea, thanks animal, I'll have to look in to one.
A trip to HD and then maybe some ribs this weekend!

Update:  Went down this past Sat and picked up my new 48.  Ben was kind enough to show us around his business.  Hoping to season it this weekend.

Grats on your purchase. So far my 36" is great for the family but the way my neighbors keep looking at me as I'm cooking I'm thinking I should have gotten the 48" my self LOL.

You'll love that smoker these things are so basic looking but perform so awesome.
