question on a 36 patio steel
looking to use my 36 this spring.i need  any info on cooking a pig.
can you tell me what size pig you cooked. wt.& girth. so it can fit in door opening.  also the time frame     thanks    vincent

If you're looking for 'the wow factor'  a suckling pig (up to 30 lb dressed) would be the perfect size - factor in 1.5 lbs per person.

If you want volume...  throw on (6) pork butts.

A Lang 60 would be better - capable of a 100-120 lb hog.

bandit              thanks for reply. the 48 can do a 70 lb .the 36 is a ft shorter  it should do a 50/60 lb    can any one confirm

The problem is not weight, but the length of a suckling pig (snout to tail) dressed down.
