Boston Butts

First time I will be cooking three 8 lb boneless butts on my 36 and was wondering if I should rotate them a couple of times (from the firebox) for a more even cook time,or just take them out when/as they reach internal temp. Also, when I cook just one of these I cook at 250*. For planning what am I looking at for a cook time for 3 butts @250*?
Thanks

Probe all 3 butts if you can. If one runs hot then rotate. If you keep your pit at even temps across then you should be good.

I average about 1.5 hours per lbs. A 3.9lb took about 6 hours and a 2.9 took about 5.5 hours. The "stall" is what took the time. Last month I cook a 7.3 lbs and it took about 6 hours becuase I didn't have time to fool around (guests would be arriving) with the stall and I wrapped the meat at 150* plus I cooked it at 275* to 280*. I cooked the smaller ones at 250*.

I rotated the meat at 145* internal.

When I know that I'm going to pressed for time I've decided to cook the product the day before. It's easier on my nerves.
